The roller has an aluminium core and is coated with a grey rubber compound of 65±5 ShA. The rubber provides very good grip and leaves no traces on the wood.
Weinig rollers are suitable for installation in various older Weinig four-sided planing machines. As part of our standard program, there are also Weinig rollers in size 140-50-30-8V with the white rubber compound of 60±5 ShA and with the brown rubber compound of 70±5 ShA.
There is also the option to have the old roller recoated, which is a more cost-effective solution (send us an inquiry).
